About St. Michael’s Higher Secondary School

St. Michael’s Higher Secondary School established in 1974 is affiliated to CBSE and run by the Catholic Diocese of Jagdalpur aiming at imparting value based quality education for the formation of a harmonious and luminous society. It is located by the side of the NH-30 three Kms away from Kanker city bus stand towards Raipur.

1974 History

The school is the upshot of many years of hard work by the visionaries of Jagdalpur Diocese. It was started in the year 1974 as a Pre Primary School at the Kanker officers club and the new school building near Govindpur village was blessed on 25-01-1976. St. Michael’s has developed to a Higher Secondary School recognized by the C.G. Board and the first batch appeared in class XIIth Board Examination in 1997. Later the CBSE syllabus was introduced and affiliated to CBSE with effect from April 2016.

Vision

ST.
